PETER BENJAMIN PARKER is born to richard and mary parker in queens, nyc.

◇ SEPTEMBER 18 1999.
MARY AND RICHARD PARKER die, leaving behind their four year old son. peter’s parents were CIA agents working loosely alongside SHIELD on behalf of nick fury’s request. the real reason to their death is masked by the government. may and ben parker, peter’s aunt and uncle, take peter in to raise him.

◇ SEPTEMBER 1999–FEBRUARY 2010.
PETER PARKER attends school in queens. he doesn’t quite know how to cope with the loss of his parents; he often acts optimistic to keep away the sadness. he’s often bullied for being a ‘nerd’ and for being the ‘kid who lost his parents,’ and can’t stand up well against his bullies due to his smaller frame. the family he has now isn’t particularly well-off when it comes to their socioeconomic status, either, and peter’s painfully aware of his low-income situation when he gets older. he doesn’t wish to ever burden may or ben when they’ve got enough to worry about on their plate. during much of his childhood, he idolizes a well known scientist, otto octavius.

◇ MARCH 2010.
PETER PARKER goes on a tour in OSCORP. he’s bitten by a spider. ouch, but no big deal, right? the next morning, he wakes up with an intense fever. by the end of the day, he’s back to normal... but everything about his senses is overwhelming. in the morning, he accidentally rips the doorknob off his bedroom door, and he can…stick to walls. and ceilings. basically everything.

◇ JUNE 2010–APRIL 2011.
‘THE SPIDER’ uses his powers to wrestle to make money. he says he’s delivering papers as a lie to may and ben. he uses this money to help pitch into the family.

◇ APRIL 2011.
BEN PARKER is shot at the local corner store after being robbed the same night that he and peter have an argument. he still blames himself.

◇ APRIL 2011–NOVEMBER 2012.
SPIDER-MAN is now new york city’s new vigilante. he has powers that can be used for good against those hurting people in the neighbourhood. fueled by ben’s death, he wishes to do well by his late uncle. aunt may begins to work at a homeless shelter called ‘F.E.A.S.T’, which is run by martin li.

◇ SEPTEMBER 2013.
PETER IS ACCEPTED into empire state university (ESU). he majors in biophysics, and picks up a side-gig working as an assistant alongside his idol, otto octavius. he also occasionally works for the daily bugle, capturing photos of spider-man for j. jonah jameson, despite the fact the photos are used as propaganda material against him.

◇ SEPTEMBER 2013–JUNE 2017.
SPIDER-MAN continues to be the friendly vigilante. he’s met, and promptly imprisoned (into the raft), several members of the sinister six. his greatest rival is wilson fisk, and his best partner is captain yuri watanabe of the nypd. peter graduates ESU in june of 2/017, and continues vigilante...ing.

◇ 2018.
SPIDER-MAN helps capture wilson fisk. the kingpin of crime in nyc is now imprisoned, but a new gang emerges called the demons. they’re trying to obtain something called the "devil’s breath." he works alongside his ex, mj watson, to find out what’s really happening. further investigation reveals that devil’s breath was originally an OSCORP production meant to try and cure illnesses, but in its current state, is poisonous and can cause death. it turns out martin li is the leader of the demons (aka mr. negative), who wishes to exact vengeance on the mayor and CEO of oscorp, norman osborn. meanwhile, norman seizes funding and closes down otto’s projects and lab, which spurs otto into working with dangerous and questionable methods. a new prosthesis, linked to his neural system, begins to change his behaviour, and despite peter’s warning, otto continues on with developing his new prosthesis. otto becomes doctor octopus, attacking ryker’s island and breaking out all the prisoners in the raft, while stealing devil’s breath. he unleashes the poison into the city.

peter fights all of the sinister six again, attempting to contain the chaos despite nearly dying while on ryker’s island, fighting otto. he wakes up in F.E.A.S.T and gets back up to find a solution to defeat otto once and for all, and to obtain the antidote for devil’s breath. meanwhile, thousands of people are either gravely ill or dead. may is also part of the infected.

when peter returns to fight otto a second time, he learns that otto knew peter was spider-man all along. with his trust betrayed, peter defeats otto, obtains the antidote, and leaves his old mentor alone to be imprisoned into the raft. he takes the antidote back to F.E.A.ST, where he’s posed with the difficult choice; the cure is only enough to help one person, and it’ll take time to be able to make more. it’s between saving aunt may, who is laying on her death bed, or saving the entirety of new york city.

knowing that his sacrifice will be for the greater good, he chooses to save everybody else. may reveals she already knew spider-man was her nephew, and succumbs shortly to devil's breath. he buries may next to ben, feeling the weight of their losses as his own fault.

after three months, the city returns back to normal. peter, miles, and mj are all friends, and it turns out that miles also has the same powers that he does.

◇ 2019–2020.
he spends his time training miles to help him become his own spider-man. at first, he's rather hesitant in them doing anything on a large scale, but over time, he comes to trust miles. after four months of training in between miles' busy schedule, peter decides to take a small break. a semi-vacation for a week where he has to do some freelancing for the bugle as a photographer. he leaves new york to miles' protection (though he'd been tempted to catch the first flight home at least four times over his trip).

upon his return, he realizes that miles has risen to the responsibility and no longer needs his overbearing presence as a mentor, though he still offers his own words of advice whenever miles asks. together, they fight crime in new york, protecting the neighbourhoods they come from, but the entire city at large, too.

as peter begins to think about finding a more stable job (he really can't afford to keep missing his rent, and resources for spidey are costly), miles suggests teaching. though peter can't afford to attend teachers college, he begins offering tutoring services for mathematics and science to middle and high school kids. depending on the family's financial status, he's more than happy to tutor pro bono, or offer a pay-what-you'd-like option to parents.

◇ NOVEMBER–JUNE 2016.
PETER uses the ‘stark internship’ to mask the fact that he’s spider-man. aunt may doesn’t know, and the last thing peter needs is her worrying over him. when he suddenly realizes there’s blackmarket weapons deals happening in nyc, peter chases after it to the source: the vulture, or, well… liz’s–– his crush’s–– dad, adrian toomes. despite tony taking away his suit for being reckless, it doesn't stop him. in the end, he both defeats and saves toomes. and… damn, both may and ned know about spider-man now.

◇ JUNE 2016–MARCH 2018.
SPIDER-MAN continues to be the friendly vigilante. some people hate him, like j.j. jameson, but spidey also has a steady stream of supporters. spider-man has his own twitter account. and then suddenly there’s an alien spaceship shaped like a donut. and, what the hell… he’s in space? fighting a tyrant? and oh, god, he doesn’t feel so good––

◇ SEPTEMBER 2023.
PETER/SPIDER-MAN swings back into life. he helps fight the final battle against thanos and his army, and aids in the delivery of the infinity gauntlet across the battlefield. he has to somehow get over the fact that he actually died, but it’s trauma he doesn’t know how to address.

◇ JULY 2024.
PETER goes on a summer vacation to europe with his class. long story short: mysterio is a fake bitch that tricked peter, and peter took him down, despite the hardships that came with having his trust broken. he returns back to nyc with his friends and continues being spider-man.

PRIMARY VERSE: insomniac ps4 spider-man (earth-1048). follows the events of the game, which you can refer to in the first half of my timeline. peter parker is 24 years old and nyc’s beloved webhead. (i write where mj and peter remain exes but still work together, alongside miles!)

canon-divergent mcu verse. 616 & headcanon based. covers peter’s later life post graduation from high school and from empire state university (ESU); he graduates with a major in biophysics. after years of troubling trauma, he ends up with a part-time teaching position back with midtown high, while also starting up parker industries, which rolls into a multimillion company, a far cry from his small beginnings. he’s an adult trying to juggle a lot while trying to do good with both his company and spider-man. the world still doesn’t know he’s spider-man. detailed verse description here, contains no way home spoilers!!!
